FMBA, Gazprombank and LIFT will work together on biomedicine

The Federal Medical and Biological Agency, Gazprombank and LIFT Biomedical Center signed a trilateral agreement on cooperation in applied scientific research in the field of biomedicine on the margins of SPIEF-2023. The document was signed by Natalia Stadchenko, Deputy Head of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia, Dmitry Zauers, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Gazprombank, and Ruslan Yunusov, founder of LIFT Center LLC.

The agreement envisages cooperation between the parties to effectively develop promising innovative technologies in the fields of biomedicine, neurobiology, neuromedicine, targeted drug delivery, cell technologies and theranostics.

LIFT (Life Improvement by Future Technologies Center) is a biomedical center where leading internationally recognized neurophysiologists, medical scientists, material scientists, chemists and physicists of Russia have joined their efforts to implement breakthrough interdisciplinary research in the field of biomedicine, development of drugs and medical devices. The main scientific directions of LIFT are: targeted drug delivery systems, molecular neurosensors, optical quantum sensors, genomic biomimetics, spinal neuroprostheses, analysis of brain electromagnetic activity and biophotonics. LIFT will be used to organize production of robotic systems, sensor sensors for medical imaging, microelectrode matrices, and 3D bioprinting.
